Three Harlan Residents Injured In Three-Car Accident Tuesday Morning

Three Harlan residents were injured in a three-car collision on Interstate 80 Tuesday morning. The Iowa State Patrol responded to the scene between the Underwood and Neola exits at approximately 9:55 a.m. All three of the vehicles involved were westbound when they came upon an accident. Twenty-year-old Jessica Throlson of Harlan was driving a 2012 Chevrolet Cruze and working to merge into the right lane at that scene. A 2019 Toyota Avalon, driven by 72-year-old Marilyn Rosmann of Harlan, was in the right lane and was rear-ended by Throlson. The impact caused the Rosmann vehicle to hit a 2018 Jeep Wrangler, driven by Taylor Axelson of Loveland, Colo. Throlson, Rosmann and a passenger in the Rossmann vehicle, 61-year-old Sharon Davidson of Harlan, were all transported by the Neola and Underwood Fire Departments for treatment of injuries.
