The May edition of the Carroll Friends of the Public Library Pop Up Book Sale is scheduled to be held later this week. From 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, volunteers will be at the library’s temporary location, adjacent to Serendipity Studio in the 400 block of Highway 30. Each month, the library rotates books out of its collection into the hands of patrons for only 25 cents each. The library is also accepting donations of quality, used books on Thursday to be added to the sale. All money raised goes to support the library and is used to broaden the library’s collection, sponsor summer reading programs and much more. The book sale is hosted on a regular basis in the third week of each month.
