St. Anthony Regional Hospital (SARH) has scheduled a press conference for next week to announce a major capital investment. Leaders at SARH and the St. Anthony Foundation did not go into detail as to what the project will entail in a press release Friday, but they did indicate the effort will affect patients and families in west central Iowa by providing enhanced health care for generations to come. SARH President and CEO, Ed Smith, Sister Helen Elsbernd with the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration, and St. Anthony Foundation Board Chairman, Karl Eischeid, D.D.S., will speak during the conference, which begins at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 27 in the chapel at the St. Anthony Regional Hospital and Nursing Home.
