St. Anthony Brings Back Popular Girls Night Out Next Wednesday

A night set aside for women to engage in candid conversations about their health, balancing schedules and making time to care for themselves is coming back next Wednesday at the Carrollton Centre. On April 10, St. Anthony Regional Hospital will be holding their third-annual Girls Night Out, a “To Your Health” community event. Women of all ages can enter the event free of charge, which will begin with a vendor fair at 5 p.m. and a program at 6:30 p.m. “By setting aside time to talk specifically about women’s health issues, it is our goal to let the women of west central Iowa know that we, as health care providers, are here to listen and help,” says Dr. Suzy Feigofsky, with the Iowa Heart Center at St. Anthony. St. Anthony staff will be on site and the physicians present include: Dr. Feigofsky; Dr. Amy Canuso, with St. Anthony Mental Health; Dr. Tina Flores Schechinger, with the St. Anthony Clinic; and Dr. Michelle Heim of the McFarland Clinic.
Women give so much of themselves—to their family, community and careers,” says Dr. Canuso. “This is an opportunity to relax and have some fun while we learn how important it is to be healthy—mentally and physically.” To register for the free event, contact St. Anthony Regional Hospital at 794-5243 or through the email address included below.
