The Storm Lake St. Mary’s School System and Church’s development and alumni director, Dawn Prosser, has been named the new managing editor of The Catholic Globe. The Sioux City Diocese newspaper is currently under the direction of Joanne Fox, who is retiring Oct. 11. Prosser will begin her duties on Monday, Oct. 7. She will oversee newspaper staff and manage all aspects of the newspaper’s editorial activities, including its online presence and social media outreach. Prosser has a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communications from the University of Iowa and a master of business administration from Wayne State College.
