Senator Chuck Grassley Continues To Lead Review Into Clinton’s Mishandling Of Classified Information

U.S. Senator, Chuck Grassley, says the State Department has identified 23 violations and seven infractions in the ongoing investigation of Hillary Clinton’s mishandling of classified information while serving as Secretary of State. Grassley has been leading the congressional oversight review of Clinton’s use of a non-government email server for official business. The recent update notes that 15 individuals were assessed for violations or infractions, and some of them found culpable of multiple security incidents. The update comes after a January inquiry by Grassley, who was seeking details on the nature of the security incidents and the officials involved. He first sought information in 2017 and is hoping to have the review and adjudication completed by Sept. 1. He says the sheer number of emails involved has made the process more complex, says it requires more time and resources and has been delayed somewhat while waiting for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to complete their investigation. Grassley notes the number of violations and infractions will likely change as the review continues.
