Sac City Invited To Sneak Peek Of The Fireball Run: Big Country Episode Featuring Their Unique Attraction

The filming of Amazon’s The Fireball Run: Big Country, was done in Sac City on Sept. 27 and Sept. 28 of 2017, and now residents are invited for a sneak peek of the finished production tomorrow (Tuesday) at the East Sac County Elementary School in Sac City. The 11th season of the story of 40 driving teams who compete in a quest to find America’s obscure historic artifacts, unique attractions and amazing experiences had contestants traveling 2,000 miles. They started in Eau Claire, Wisc., finishing with a huge parade finale in Rapid City, S.D. Teams were given clues which would lead them to their final destinations and their final goals, which included the world’s largest popcorn ball. In addition, drivers were also tasked with distributing thousands of posters featuring a missing child. To date, Fireball Run’s Race to Recover America’s Missing Children awareness campaign for the Child Rescue Network has aided in over 50 child recoveries. All 30 episodes will premiere on Amazon Prime Jan. 15, but Tuesday’s Sac City preview will begin at 2:45 p.m. Notable participants in these episodes include: the original Red Power Ranger, Austin St. John; actor Brian O’Halloran who has been in Mall Rats, Clerks and Jay and Silent Bob; Miss America’s Sharlene Hawkes and Nicole Johnson; and best-selling author, Jay Menez. During the premiere, photo or video capture is strictly prohibited. A special watermark has been embedded in the episode that will identify the date, time and location any such captures take place.
