Congressman for Iowa’s 4th District, Steve King, will be in Sac County next week to honor a local serviceman. King will be joined by retired Staff Sergeant Patrick Feilmeier in the Sac County Courthouse at 3:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 19 for the presentation of the Meritorious Service Medal. Sgt. Feilmeier served 30 years in the U.S. Army Reserves, retiring in November of 2018. He is receiving the award for his service from 2006 through 2016 as a Platoon Sergeant for the 445th Transportation Company.
