New York Senator, Kirsten Gillibrand, has released more details about her fourth trip to Iowa that includes several stops in the west-central portion of the state. The three-day swing, titled “Brave Wins,” begins today (Wednesday) with tours of the southwest Iowa communities impacted by the March floods, Pacific Junction and Glenwood. She will meet with caucus goers in Creston, Clarinda, and Atlantic Thursday in what Gillibrand calls a listening tour before her scheduled events Friday in our area. Gillibrand will host “Conversations with Kirsten” at the Mi Casa restaurant in Harlan at 11 a.m. Friday, at Cronk’s Café at 1:15 p.m. in Denison and at Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) at 3 p.m. in Carroll. Doors for each event will open 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time. The public is encouraged to RSVP for the location of their choice, links to do so can be found below. Gillibrand announced Tuesday that she has received an endorsement from Kirsten Anderson, the former statehouse employee who sued the state on sexual harassment charges and won. This will be the first time Gillibrand visits Carroll, Crawford, Shelby, Cass, Pottawattamie, Warren, Union and Mills Counties.
