Sac City officials have scheduled the public hearing for an upcoming streets project. Administrator, Jamie Lawrence, says plans are currently being developed to perform significant rehabilitation to some of the town’s main thoroughfares.
He indicates the project is still in the very early stages, so only the areas that are to be worked on are known for sure this time. The city still needs to secure a contractor and develop a timeline.
Lawrence says they will have a better idea of the cost and duration of the work once they have engaged with an engineer and reviewed bids. The meeting will begin at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 12 in the Sac City Municipal Utility Building.
