Presidential Candidate, John Delaney, Goes On Statewide Tour In January

Democratic Presidential candidate and former Maryland Congressman, John Delaney, will be conducting a touring blitz of the state before the Monday, Feb. 3 Iowa caucus. He will be spending most of the month of January crisscrossing the state with 40 planned stops in the “Send a Message Tour.” They will be hosting meet-and-greets, knocking on doors, making support calls and meeting with caucus-goers and precinct captains. “By coming out to these events and supporting my candidacy, Iowans will also be sending a clear message that the Democratic Party has to fight for Rural America and forgotten small towns, that Iowa is important, that the best way to beat Donald Trump is with a strong and steady nominee who is successful in business and government, and that our nation needs a problem solver with a track record of getting things done,” Delaney says. In the Carroll Broadcasting listening area, Delaney has planned events at Brothers on Main in Carroll, beginning at 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 17. Then at 4 p.m., he will tour Templeton Rye. He will be back in the area on Tuesday, Jan. 21 with a door-knocking campaign at 3 p.m. in Jefferson followed by a stop at the Owl’s Nest in Panora at 5 p.m.
