One person was injured and one vehicle was disabled in an accident at 3rd and Main Streets in Carroll Friday morning. The Carroll Police Department reports they responded at approximately 8:34 a.m. to find that a 2012 Chevrolet Malibu, driven by 19-year-old Taylor Woosley of Carroll, was northbound on Main Street. At that same time, 77-year-old Dean Danielson of Denison was eastbound on 3rd Street in a 2014 Chevrolet Equinox. Danielson stopped at the intersection, but then proceed to go on through, striking the Woosley vehicle on the driver’s side. Woosley was transported to St. Anthony Regional Hospital by Carroll County Emergency Medical Services for treatment of suspected minor injuries. The Danielson vehicle was disabled and towed from the scene. Danielson was cited for failure to obey a stop sign.
