One Democratic Presidential Candidate, Hickenlooper, Drops Out Of Primary Race

Former Colorado Governor, John Hickenlooper, announced Thursday morning that he has ended his campaign for the Democratic nomination for President. He said the past six months have been more exciting and rewarding than he could have imagined, and he had, obviously, pictured a very different outcome. He agrees with all the Americans he has talked to who are tired of the chaos and dysfunction in Washington, D.C. and just want solutions. “I ran for President because this country is being ripped apart by politics and partisan games while our biggest problems go unsolved,” Hickenlooper said. And although his bid for the nomination has ended, he said he will never stop believing that America can only move forward when we work together. He added he is also proud of the campaign he has run and thanks all of his supporters. Many of these people have called for him to run for the United States Senate representing Colorado instead, and Hickenlooper has indicated he will be giving that some serious thought.
