No Injuries But Disabling Damage Resulting From Carroll Accident Saturday

No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Putnam Ave. and U.S. Highway 30 on Saturday afternoon. The Carroll Police Department responded to the scene at 12:09 p.m., and the investigation revealed that 28-year-old Clayton Boyle of Carroll was westbound on Highway 30 in a 2003 Chevrolet K2500. At that same time, a 2008 Dodge Caliber, driven by 81-year-old Loreta Daisy of Lake City, was entering the highway northbound off Putnam. Daisy pulled out in front of the Boyle vehicle. The resulting collision disabled both the truck and the Caliber. Daisy was cited for failure to obey a stop sign.
