No Injuries And No Citations In Two-Vehicle Accident On Main In Carroll

No injuries and no citations were issued in a two-vehicle accident in Carroll Thursday morning. The Carroll Police Department reports they were called to the scene on U.S. Highway 30 and Main Street at approximately 11:26 a.m. Thirty-three-year-old Skyler Roder of Carroll was southbound on Main Street in a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado. The Roder vehicle struck a westbound 2017 Nissan Altima, driven by 20-year-old Jared Smouse of Coon Rapids, on the passenger side, causing functional damage to both vehicles. Authorities say that citations were not issued as both drivers claimed they had the green light and there were no independent witnesses to confirm which claim was accurate.
