Motorcyclist Injured When Truck And Trailer Pull Out Into His Path

A motorcyclist was injured in Jefferson Saturday afternoon when he struck a trailer on a truck that pulled into his lane of traffic. The Jefferson Police Department responded to the scene at the intersection of Elm and Clark Streets at approximately 3:26 p.m. A 2010 Ford F-350 and trailer, owned by Lind Hilltop Farm, Inc. of Marathon and being operated by Steven Lind, had stopped at the posted sign, but then continued south into the intersection. He did not see a northbound 2019 Harley Davidson motorcycle, driven by Tanner Lindmark of Stratford. Lindmark was transported to the Greene County Medical Center by Greene County Emergency Medical Services for injuries received in the incident. The motorcycle was deemed a total loss with an estimated $10,000 in damages. There was about $1,000 in damage to the trailer. Lind was cited for failure to obey a stop sign.
