Meet and Greet With Iowa’s Fourth District Primary Candidate, Dr. Bret Richards, Has New Start Time For Saturday

The start time for a meet-and-greet event in Carroll this weekend with Dr. Bret Richards, one of three Republican primary challengers to Iowa Fourth District Representative, Steve King, has been moved back by 30 minutes. Now beginning at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 6, constituents are invited to an outdoor event at 213 E. 6th Street to join Richards in discussing issues that are important to the district, such as renewable fuels, declining access to rural healthcare, the national debt and more. Prior to running for the U.S. House of Representatives, Richards served with the U.S. Army, was the mayor of Irwin, and owned his own business. He also sits on the Manning Regional  Healthcare Center(MRHC) board of directors as chairman. Richards is joined by two others in challenging King: Randy Feenstra, a state senator from Hull; and Jeremy Taylor, a former Woodbury County supervisor and state representative.
