Jefferson PD Requests Five Warrants On Nebraska Man Following Positive Results From Drug Testing

Laboratory results have come back and an Omaha, Neb. man is now facing five charges resulting from a traffic stop in Jefferson on July 27. The Jefferson Police Department reports that 26-year-old Brandon Frederiksen, who had his fiancé and a two-year-old child in the car, was pulled over at about 10:13 a.m. After detecting the odor of marijuana, an officer conducted a probable cause search and located a substance suspected to be marijuana, drug paraphernalia along with what was believed to be unauthorized prescription medications. The results came back positive and arrest warrants have been requested on charges of child endangerment, an aggravated misdemeanor, second-offense possession of a controlled substance, marijuana, possession of a controlled substance, Oxycodone, and possession of a controlled substance, Xanax, all serious misdemeanors, as well as possession of drug paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor.
