Following an investigation and the receipt of laboratory results from items seized in a March 3 search warrant, the Jefferson Police Department is seeking multiple arrest warrants on two individuals. The first set requested are on 33-year-old Roger Allen Burnie of Jefferson for three counts of child endangerment and two second-offense charges for possession of a controlled substance, marijuana and methamphetamine, all aggravated misdemeanors, as well as possession of drug paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor. Warrants are also being sought on 34-year-old Amelia Kennedy of Jefferson on three counts of child endangerment, two first-offense charges of possession of a controlled substance, marijuana and methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
