Iowa Public Television (IPTV) has announced they will be presenting a statewide broadcast of the 2019 Iowa State Dance Team Association (ISDTA) Championships early next month. The two-hour program will showcase highlights from the winning routines and first airs on Monday, Feb. 4 at 8 p.m. Nearly 5,000 dancers from more than 270 Iowa high schools and colleges competed at Wells Fargo Arena and Hy-Vee Hall in Des Moines on Nov. 29 and 30 of last year, with top 10 finishes from several of our local schools, including Ar-We-Va, Audubon, Carroll, East Sac County, Glidden-Ralston, Kuemper Catholic and South Central Calhoun. For those who miss the first showing, a rebroadcast will air on Sunday, Feb. 10 at 1 p.m. on IPTV. The program is hosted by Executive Director of the ISDTA, Andrea Dana, ISDTA Board President, Lois Turnage, and Scott Enyart, the event’s announcer.
