The Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA) Downtown Resource Center has announced they will be hosting a community forum in Audubon later this summer. Representatives from the center will be at the public library on Wednesday, July 17 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. to examine the major factors that contribute to a downtown’s success. The day includes a self-assessment tool to help community leaders identify the pros and cons of their town center, and presenters will also review the various grant opportunities available for communities. The downtown forum is free to attend, but space is limited. Individuals interested in participating are encouraged to register well in advance.
