Iowa Department Of Cultural Affairs Encourages Iowans To Apply For Recently Announced Arts, History And Culture Grants

The Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs (IDCA) has announced they have opened up a new round of grant applications. The grants will provide opportunities for people interested in offering or producing cultural experiences and media for residents and visitors to Iowa. “All across the state, Iowans are developing arts, history and cultural projects to strengthen quality of life, economic growth and jobs in their communities,” says Chris Kramer, director of the IDCA. According to her, providing world-class arts and cultural experiences in Iowa is imperative to attracting and maintaining a globally-minded workforce. More than a dozen grants are now open to individuals, organizations and communities and range in awards from $1,000 to $150,000. Deadlines to submit applications fall between March 1 and May 1, depending on the grant. Links with more information and how to apply can be found below.
