The Iowa Association of Realtors (IAR) and the National Association of Realtors (NAR) have joined forces to assist flood victims in western Iowa. The NAR’s Realtor Flood Relief Foundation has awarded the Iowa association a $250,000 grant, and the IAR has contributed another $25,000. Fifty-nine of Iowa’s 99 counties were declared disaster areas by Governor Reynolds. Many of our neighbors have sustained heavy losses,” says IAR President, John Geode. “Iowa residents are known for helping their neighbors in need. The Iowa Association of Realtors is committed to assisting Iowans recover from this disaster,” he adds.
