Investigation Is Ongoing Into Single-Vehicle Accident That Killed A Perry Man

Authorities are investigating a single-vehicle accident that claimed the life of a Perry man. The Iowa State Patrol and Perry Police and Fire Departments responded to the scene on the northern end of the community at approximately 11:23 p.m. Wednesday. Forty-eight-year-old Michael Thomas Sloss struck a parked car with the 1994 Ford F-150 he was driving. This apparently caused him to lose control, enter a residential yard and hit a tree and two other parked vehicles. Sloss sustained fatal injuries during that crash.
