An investigation into a March 2018 incident has led to the arrest of an Exira man. The Carroll Police Department reports they took 34-year-old Richard Chickering, III into custody on Monday, March 25 at approximately 9:27 a.m. Chickering has been charged with third-degree theft for a report of forged checks, received by the department on March 8, 2018.
