IKM-Manning Stakeholders Strongly Encouraged To Attend Facility Planning Meeting Tuesday, Nov. 12

Stakeholders in the IKM-Manning Community School District are invited to a facility planning session next week to provide feedback on their progress so far. An assessment of the district’s buildings, which was completed in March, found they are beginning to show their age and identified areas in need of attention. According to Superintendent, Trevor Miller, Tuesday will be the third meeting in the series.

Miller is encouraging as many stakeholders as possible to attend Tuesday’s session. He says they cannot develop a plan that is acceptable to the community if they do not hear directly from them.

Miller says the plan for Tuesday is very simple. To start, he and the architects will present the circumstances surrounding IKM-Manning’s facilities.

The Tuesday, Nov. 12 meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. at Memorial Hall in Manilla. The feedback gathered there will be taken to the IKM-Manning Board of Directors at their Nov. 21 meeting to help them continue developing plans for the district.
