Homecare Options of Carroll has been awarded high accolades from two rehabilitation facility oversight organizations. In February, two state surveyors from Iowa Medicaid spent a day at their facility reviewing the services they provide by examining documentation, treatment plans and client, guardian and employee input. Homecare Options also received a three-year accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), the highest level to be offered. CARF is an international nonprofit accreditor of health and human services, and they spent three days on site reviewing every element of the business. Homecare Option’s owners, Randy and Madeleine Huegerich, were pleased to receive the approval of both agencies and said, “Homecare Options is a family owned and operated business that has provided quality services to the residents of Carroll County for over 25 years. These certifications and accreditations show the efforts made by our entire team to ensure that the individuals we serve receive the best care that we can provide. We are proud of these accomplishments and look forward to continuing to provide excellent services to the residents of Carroll County.”
