Iowa Gov., Kim Reynolds, has signed a proclamation aimed at making propane delivery more timely in rural areas. Thursday’s proclamation temporarily suspends certain regulatory provisions pertaining to hours of service. Earlier than normal winter weather conditions, a late harvest and high demand for petroleum products throughout the Midwest has resulted in low supplies of propane. This step will provide more leniency from Nov. 1 through midnight on Nov. 30 on available service hours for crews and drivers delivering propane.
