Gov. Reynolds Orders Flags To Half-Staff For Memorial Day

Gov. Kim Reynolds has ordered all flags in Iowa to be lowered to half-staff from sunrise to noon on Monday, May 27 in recognition of Memorial Day. Flags will be at half-staff on the State Capitol Building, on flag displays in the Capitol Complex and on all public buildings, grounds and facilities throughout the state. individuals, businesses, schools, municipalities, counties and other government subdivisions are encouraged to fly the flag at half-staff for the same length of time as a sign of respect. Reynolds has also ordered the National League of Families POW/MIA flags be flown on the Capitol grounds for the entire day on Monday.
