Gov. Reynolds Names Carroll Attorney, Christopher Polking, As District Judge

Gov. Kim Reynolds has appointed a Carroll attorney and former magistrate as a district court judge. The Office of the Governor announced on Friday Christopher Polking will be serving in Judicial Election District 2B, which includes Calhoun, Carroll, Greene, Pocahontas, Sac and Webster Counties. Polking earned his undergraduate degree from Tufts University in Massachusetts and law degree from the University of Minnesota Law School. He currently practices at the Polking Law Office in Carroll and previously served as a part-time judicial magistrate in Carroll County for nine years.
