Gov. Reynolds Appoints Carroll Attorney, Gina Badding, As District Court Judge

Gov. Kim Reynolds has appointed a Carroll attorney, Gina Badding, to serve as a district court judge in Iowa Judicial Election District 2B. Badding received her undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Iowa. She currently practices law with Neu, Minnich, Comito, Halbur, Neu and Badding, P.C. in Carroll and serves on the Carroll Community School District (CCSD) Board of Education. The appointment is effective immediately, but it could take up to 60 days before Badding begins her work as a judge. Reynolds also appointed Amy Moore, of Ames, to the bench on Monday. Moore received her undergraduate degree from Iowa State University and her law degree from the Creighton University School of Law. She currently serves as a part-time judicial magistrate in Story County and practices with Mid-Iowa Mediation and Law, PLLC. District 2B includes Boone, Calhoun, Carroll, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Humboldt, Marshall, Pocahontas, Sac, Story, Webster and Wright Counties.
