Glidden-Ralston School District Reports About 4.1 Percent Increase In Revenues And About 4 Percent Decrease In Expenses

The Glidden-Ralston Community School District has posted the results of their annual audit for the year ending June 30, 2018. The district’s revenues showed a 4.1 increase from the prior year at more than $4.9 million. This includes nearly $2 million in local taxes, nearly $1.04 million in operating and capital grants and just shy of $760,000 in restricted interest. Expenses for the district dropped about the same amount, by four percent, from the previous year, totaling over $4.75 million. The majority of costs were found in instructional expenses reported at slightly more than $2.8 million and $1.44 million for support services.
