Fort Dodge Man Wanted In Webster County Arrested In Storm Lake And Facing Additional Drug Charges

A Fort Dodge man, wanted out of Webster County for a parole violation and for being absent without bond, was apprehended in Storm Lake and faces even more charges. The Storm Lake Police Department was notified by the Fort Dodge PD Sunday that they suspected 35-year-old Blaine Stockwell was staying at Kings Pointe Resort. Authorities investigated the tip and then conducted surveillance, spotting Stockwell as he approached a room with a female at approximately 10 p.m. Police moved in and apprehended Stockwell and the female, 31-year-old Heidi Holston of Marathon, without incident. Stockwell allegedly had 32 grams of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia on his person and Holston was in possession of drug paraphernalia. A search warrant was then executed in the guest room and authorities allege they found an additional approximately 35 grams of marijuana packaged for sale, more drug paraphernalia, ledgers indicating drug sales and about $4,600 in cash. Stockwell has been charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, methamphetamine, a class B felony, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, marijuana, and failure to affix a drug tax stamp, both class D felonies, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor. He is being held on the warrant and on an additional $35,300 bond. Holston was charged with conspiracy with intent to deliver a controlled substance, methamphetamine, a class B felony, conspiracy with intent to deliver a controlled substance, marijuana, a class D felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was booked into the Buena Vista County jail on a $30,300 bond. The Buena Vista County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the investigation.
