Formal Charges Filed Against Two Carroll Residents Found In Possession Of Drug And Firework-Manufacturing Materials

Formal charges were filed last week in District Court for Carroll County against two Carroll residents who were allegedly found with drugs and firework-manufacturing materials in their home. Fifty-five-year-old Daniel Biedler and 62-year-old Connie Warnke face one count each of possession of a controlled substance—marijuana, a serious misdemeanor. The pair was arrested on Feb. 21 after the Carroll Police Department executed a search warrant in the 700 block of Corey Drive and located marijuana, drug paraphernalia and explosive materials believed to be used for assembling fireworks. Their arraignment hearings have been scheduled for Thursday, March 28 at the Carroll County Courthouse. If found guilty, they face a maximum penalty of one year in the county jail and up to $1,875 in fines.
