A driving complaint that was submitted to the Carroll Police Department on Tuesday resulted in an arrest for impaired driving. An officer responded to Highway 30 and Quint Avenue at approximately 11:54 p.m. after learning that a 2012 Toyota Corolla was observed driving over the median while leaving a convenience store. Thirty-year-old Bryant Adkins of Fontanelle was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, first offense. Adkin’s Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) was .195, nearly two and a half times the legal limit.
