A citizen’s report of a car that was headed into Jefferson on U.S. Highway 4 south resulted in the arrest of a Panora woman. The Jefferson Police Department responded to the complaint and located the vehicle, following it for a brief period of time. The officer witnessed the driver leave their lane of travel and a traffic stop was performed. Forty-eight-year-old Patricia Lynn Monthei was arrested and charged with felony operating while intoxicated for her third offense. She was also cited for failure to provide proof of financial liability and driving on the wrong side of the roadway, both simple misdemeanors.
