The Catholic School Foundation of the Diocese of Sioux City is working on organizing the 23rd annual Bishop’s Dinner for Sunday, Sept. 22, at the Delta Hotels Center. They have announced that Ennie Hickman is to headline that event. Hickman has been one of the most respected and sought-after ministry leaders in America for nearly 20 years. He is a graduate of the Franciscan University of Steubenville, and credits his foundation in faith to his parents, who sent him to Catholic school, along with his teachers and coaches who helped form him in the way of discipleship. Hickman has a passion for following Jesus, which he shares through a simple and ancient approach to Christian living. By spreading this message, he had helped tens of thousands of people transform their lives. The Bishop’s Dinner for Catholic Schools is the single largest fundraiser that benefits the 16 Catholic school systems within the Sioux City Diocese, including Kuemper Catholic Schools in Carroll. One hundred percent of all proceeds are distributed to the schools in the form of educational enhancement grants. The 2018 dinner raised more than $200,000. Tickets for the 2019 dinner will go on sale Aug. 1 and can be purchased through the contact points included here.
