Driver Allegedly Running Stop Light Is Cause Of Thursday Accident In Carroll

One driver allegedly failed to obey a traffic signal, resulting in an accident last week on Highway 30 in Carroll. The Carroll Police Department reports that at approximately 5:14 p.m. on Thursday evening, 42-year-old Melissa Reiling of Carroll was northbound on Carroll Street in a 2014 Jeep Cherokee. At the same time, 38-year-old Gordon Tsubira of Lohrville was westbound on Highway 30 in a 2014 Chevrolet Cruz. Authorities say Tsubira went through a red light and was struck by the Reiling vehicle on the driver’s side. No injuries were reported, but the Cruz was disabled. Tsubira was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device.
