Driver Admits To Looking At His Phone Right Before Hitting Parked Car

A driver admitted to Carroll authorities that he glanced at his phone just prior to hitting a parked car on Sunday evening. Twenty-one-year-old Christian Collins of Marshfield, Wisc. says he was westbound on 10th Street in a 2007 Ford Focus when he looked down at his phone. He did not see a parked vehicle and collided with the rear, causing functional damage to both. No injuries were reported and Collins was cited for failure to maintain control and driving without a license.
