DNR Mobile Education Exhibit To Make Stop At Hagge Park In Early May

The Sac County Conservation Board (SCCB) is excited to announce the Iowa Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Mobile Education Exhibit will be making a stop in Hagge Park near Sac City next month. The interactive trailer will be in the park’s campground on Thursday, May 9 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The exhibit consists of displays, kiosks and educational videos that showcase how resources are consumed in the average American household. The trailer has five separate stations and covers a variety of topics, including: sustainability, recycling, household hazardous materials, and water and energy conservation. The exhibits are designed to be of interest to adults but still understandable to participants as young as 10 years old. There is no cost to attend and no pre-registration is required.
