With more than 20 Iowa counties highlighted for an early August tour, Minnesota Senator and 2020 Democratic presidential candidate, Amy Klobuchar, is also expected to make a major policy announcement. Klobuchar will be headed back to Iowa on Wednesday, when she will outline a plan to help America’s farmers and to revitalize rural communities, culminating with her time on the Des Moines Register Political Soapbox at the Iowa State Fair on Saturday. Klobuchar will make stops in Greene and Carroll Counties along the way. The Greene County stop is scheduled for Wednesday, but a location and time have not yet been released. Klobuchar will also be at Ski’s Sandwich Shop on West 5th Street at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7.
