Deadline To Register For Wall Lake Public Library’s Maker Camps Is Friday, July 12

The Wall Lake Public Library continues the “Universe of Stories” summer reading program next week with the first in a series of maker camps for children 10 years of age and older. Beginning at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 17, participants will gather at the library for a cookie decorating session with Brianne O’Neil. On Wednesday, July 24, the kids will be treated to stencil painting, and they will have the chance to experiment with wind tunnels on Wednesday, Aug. 7. The final session will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 14 and features acrylic pour painting with Laura Comito from Artworks Studio in Carroll. The first three camps are offered at no charge, but the final session does have a $12.50 fee to help cover the cost of supplies. The deadline to register for the maker camp is Friday, July 12. Registration forms, which can be found included with this story on our website, can be turned in at the Wall Lake Public Library. For more information on the programs, contact the library at 712-664-2983.
