In a special Ceremony this (Tuesday) afternoon, representatives from the Iowa Department of Economic Authority (IEDA) announced the inclusion of Coon Rapids as a Main Street Iowa community. Local authorities joined residents at the Raccoon River Social Club in recognizing the work of a large committee that was instrumental in working over the past eight months to showcase the many attributes the city has to offer and their goals for a future that is highlighted by a vibrant Main Street district.
