Charges are pending as an investigation into a two-vehicle accident in Carroll on Wednesday continues. Officers with the Carroll Police Department were dispatched to the scene at U.S. Highway 30 and Main Street at approximately 10:12 p.m. A 2003 Nissan 350, driven by 17-year-old Simon Wagner of Carroll, was driving southbound on Main Street. At the same time, 16-year-old Gavin Pedelty was northbound on Main in a GMC Envoy and turned west onto Highway 30, in front of the Wagner vehicle. Wagner struck Pedelty in the passenger side, disabling both vehicles. No injuries were reported and the charges for Pedelty are pending completion of that investigation.
