The Carroll Community School District (CCSD) Board of Education gathers tomorrow (Thursday) for the final meeting of Fiscal Year (FY) 2019. The meeting will convene at 12 p.m. in the conference room at Adams Elementary School. After approving the consent agenda and year-end bills, district officials will consider the second reading for changes to a dozen board policies. They will also review the addition of several new policies, including insurance coverage for administrators and suicide prevention and ACES training. The final policy up for consideration involves student participation in extracurricular activities and competitions. The board will then review bids for the construction of a control room in the high school commons, which will be able to control the scoreboards at the Carroll Athletic Field and the gymnasium when completed. They will then entered closed session to consider action on the district’s emergency operation plan.
