The Carroll Police Department responded to another rear-end collision on Wednesday afternoon, this one on U.S. Highway 30 and Clark Street. The call came in at approximately 3:44 p.m. that a 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan, driven by 76-year-old Joseph Roberts of Carroll was eastbound on 30, followed by a 2015 Dodge Ram, driven by 24-year-old Christian Hoffman of Lidderdale. Roberts was stopped for traffic, waiting to turn north onto Clark Street, when he was rear-ended by the Hoffman vehicle. Neither driver complained of injuries and only functional damage was reported. Hoffman was cited for failure to maintain control.
