Carroll Mayor, Dr. Eric Jensen, signed a proclamation last week declaring the week of Feb. 24 to March 2 as the Friends of Kuemper Ball “Red and Gold Week.” Kuemper Ball co-chairs, Rich and Tonya Ortner and Josh and Valerie Riesberg, and Alumni and Giving Director, Cindy Lawler, joined Jensen at the Greteman Center on Wednesday night for the signing. The proclamation recognizes Kuemper Catholic Schools for being among the highest quality educational facilities in Iowa and for the long-standing relationship between Kuemper and the surrounding communities and businesses. Jensen encouraged all Carroll County residents to acknowledge the week and urged them to show continued support for local Catholic education.
