The driver in a single-vehicle accident west of Breda on Saturday sustained only minor injuries. The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office responded to Concord Avenue, between 110th and 120th Streets, at approximately 6:09 a.m. Nineteen-year-old Dawson Joseph Bock of Carroll was southbound in a 2005 Chevrolet Malibu when he drove off the roadway and entered the west ditch, where the vehicle rolled onto its top. Bock was found to be under the influence of alcohol and was arrested at the scene after being medically released. He has been charged with first-offense operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and failure to maintain control. The Malibu was deemed a total loss.
