Carroll County Supervisors To Review ISICS Plan During Monday’s Meeting

The Carroll County Board of Supervisors are scheduled for two discussions at their regularly scheduled meeting next week: one concerning Fiscal Year (FY) 2021 salaries and health insurance rates and the other regarding the Iowa State Interoperable Communications System (ISICS) upgrade. To begin the meeting, the board will briefly approve payables and review options for cleaning the lower level of the Fricke building. The supervisors will then meet with department heads and negotiation teams to start working on next year’s employee compensation package. Next, they will meet with a representative from Motorola to go over the plans to modernize the county’s emergency radio system. The board voted in October to move forward with installing the more than $4 million system. The supervisors will close out the meeting with a report from County Engineer, Dave Paulsen, manure management annual updates and committee reports. Monday’s meeting begins at 9 a.m. in the supervisors’ meeting room at the Carroll County Courthouse. The public is invited and encouraged to attend.
