Both Drivers Thought They Had The Green Light In Clark Street and Highway 30 Accident Tuesday

Two drivers who both believed they had the green light collided at the intersection of Clark Street and U.S. Highway 30 Tuesday afternoon. The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office responded at approximately 1:03 p.m. to the scene to find that a 2018 Dodge Ram 1500, driven by 40-year-old Jeffrey Scott Irlbeck of Manning, was eastbound on Highway 30. At the same time, a 2007 GMC Yukon, driven by 30-year-old Courtney Kay Cook of Carroll, was northbound on Clark Street. The Cook vehicle struck the passenger’s side of the Irlbeck truck, causing it to spin around. No injuries were reported. There was an estimated $4,500 in damages to the Yukon and $12,000 to the Dodge truck.
